#31- Glad to have missed out for 27 years

One of the only positive ramifications of growing up with asthma and allergies is that I avoided most outdoor chores such as raking leaves and shoveling snow. So, today, as it snowed for the zillionth consecutive day, I decided to pay my dues and:

I shoveled the sidewalk.

Picture of me admiring my work below.

One of the tenants of my building actually shovels our sidewalk and stairs each time it snows, so I shoveled a neighbor’s space. I recently discovered that he deducts $50 from his rent check for services rendered. The best part is that his work is not commissioned by our management company.

Fun factor: 2

Only a 2?! I shoveled the car out and it was a 4, at least. Probably because I had a cute, tiny shovel. So tiny it fits in the trunk!

Gosh how I miss Chicago in the winter. Is Chubby your camera man for your blog?
