#62- (The not so publicized) Step 13: Use remaining nectar to cleanse your abode

Lots of spring cleaning going on here this weekend. Things can get pretty depressing when you’ve spent 12 of your waking hours cleaning, so I try to create opportunities in which alcohol can be inserted into the picture. In addition to bonging a beer for every dust bunny I collected,

I cleaned my bathroom fixtures with vodka.

I read somewhere along the way that this was a good use for vodka- that it made silver/chrome fixtures very shiny. So, I tried it, and it worked! I don’t think the pictures do the results justice, as the difference in person was very noticeable. Try this next time you are cleaning!

Fun factor: 7

  1. Gasp…….You can’t waste vodka on cleaning a faucet. That’s alcohol abuse! Unless you tell me you did a shot (or 2) while cleaning…….

  2. this isn’t one of my favs – mainly because i can’t hear, see, smell anything that has to do with vodka without becoming overwhelmingly nauseous – so the thought of inhaling it while cleaning is making me gag right now. but fun little experiment nonetheless – way to go.

btw – did you tell me that your cards are for sale on etsy? there was a special on martha stewart today about that site. martha LOVES etsy. so i guess that’s a little free promotion for paper by shea.

you are so ahead of the times regarding all things cyber.
