#102- Fine Dining

on

My roommate has a class 6 nights a week these days. I’m not sure how anyone expects me to eat without my live-in chef slaving away. I’ve been forced to cook, which would be fine if my creations didn’t taste like canine feces compared to his. Last night, I made this recipe and:

I was serenaded by the internet while I ate.

The Amateur Gourmet is a fun site- he’s gained such a following that he has a book out and I believe is on the Food Network for something or other. Anyways, this was a fun way to eat my din-din. I listened to it without seeing my computer so I didn’t know what was coming next. Eye of the Tiger was the crowd fave; during that number I high-fived myself and took a shot.

Fun factor: 7

I am more than a little concerned that you would be familiar with the taste of canine feces. Although, that might explain why you were so broken up when our cocker spaniel, Max, moved on to doggy hell some years ago.

How did the Peanut Butter stew taste? Like a Thai-inspired dish, or something else? The guys at the FD would flip out if I put that in the ole crock pot…

Wait………..I thought Max went to a “good home on a farm with a big family that had 14 kids”?

Yes, they just happened to have horns, tails, and pitchforks. And, not a mailman to be seen anywhere.

DC- the stew tasted more like tomato based than peanut butter…try it! It’s a good dish for a bunch of people- I don’t recommend the leftovers- the stew got too soggy for me.
